Questions
The things people ask us most.
Can't find your answer? Send us a message through the booking form.
My home hasn't been cleaned professionally for a while. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Some homes need a deep clean first to get on top of built-up limescale, grease and dust. After that, regular visits keep it at that standard. Not sure which you need? Send us a few quick photos of your kitchen and bathroom using our message form, and we'll let you know.
Do I need to be in?
No. Most clients leave a key or give us a key safe code. Keys are kept securely, labelled with a code rather than your address, and covered by our key insurance.
Do you bring your own products?
Yes. We bring all our own professional products and equipment, so you don't need to provide anything.
When do I pay?
For regular cleans, nothing up front: after each visit we email you a secure link to pay by card, or you can set up Direct Debit. Deep and end of tenancy cleans need a 20% deposit to hold the date, refunded if you cancel at least 48 hours ahead. The rest is paid after the clean.
What photos should I send?
Photos are optional, but recommended. Send a few photos of your kitchen and bathroom, showing the worst bits: limescale on taps and shower screens, grease on the hob, mould, or anything that has built up. It might feel odd, but it means there are no surprises on the day and we can lock in your price. If the photos only show the best areas and the home needs much more work, the time or price may change when we arrive.
What if the home needs more work than I said?
We walk round with you when we arrive and take photos of anything in a worse condition than described. Before we start, we'll agree with you whether to add time at £20 an hour, focus on the rooms that matter most within the time booked, or rebook a longer visit. If the clean can't go ahead, a £35 call-out charge applies.
Are there jobs you don't take on?
Yes. Homes with heavy mould, pests, hoarding, needles or bodily fluids need a specialist cleaner, so we'll point you to one instead.
Who will clean my home?
A member of our small team, led by our DBS-checked owner. Every clean is covered by our insurance and worked to the same room-by-room checklist, so the standard is the same whoever comes.
Do you clean homes with pets?
Yes. Just tell us what pets you have when you book.
